The submission of a paper by a set of authors will be held to imply that it represents the results of their original research not previously published; that it is not under consideration for publication elsewhere; and that if accepted for Uttaranchal Journal of Applied And Life Sciences it will not be published elsewhere.

Manuscript Preparation:

* Abstract (Not more than 300 words)
* Key words
* Introduction
* Materials and Methods
* Results and Discussions
* References
* Photographs should be of high quality (Minimum 300 dpi).
* Graphs should be in clearly visible form so that it may become easy to redraw
* The manuscript must be submitted in MS-WORD file format.

Upon acceptance of an article, authors will be asked to complete a Journal Publishing Agreement. Acceptance of the agreement will ensure the widest possible dissemination of information. An e-mail will be sent to the corresponding author confirming receipt of the manuscript together with a ‘Journal Publishing Agreement’ Form. If excerpts from other copyrighted works are included, the author(s) must obtain written permission from the copyright owners and credit the source(s) in the article.

Retained author rights
As an author you (or your employer or institution) retains certain rights*.

In the manuscript: see example-

(Kumar, 2011) – One author

(Kumar and Dhatwalia, 2002) – Two authors

(Kumar et al., 2011) – more than two authors

(Kumar and Dhatwalia, 2012a, b) – More than one paper in the same year by the same authors

(Kumar and Dhatwalia, 2011; Kumar et al., 2011; Kumar, 2012) – listed by earliest year first for multiple citations

References should be arranged alphabetically by author without serial numbering. Titles of journal should be abbreviated in accordance. Reference accuracy is critical and authors are responsible for the accuracy of the references. Only articles that have been published should be included in the References. Journal articles and books must be cited by the following formats:
